By the time you are reading this newsletter, our OCLC lending for this school year has come to an end. Thank you for all your support and willingness to lend your books to libraries from all across our country. I am going to do all I can to get your books back to you before you leave for the summer.

The dinner was so much fun! It is my favorite event each year. For those who were not there, I invented new awards to help celebrate our traveling books. This year I just celebrated the 3 farthest traveled titles. The winners were...

Jet Set Award for the farthest distance goes to I am the Messenger from Wellsville Middle School. This title traveled 2,651.94 miles to Washington School for the Deaf in Vancouver WA.

Train Travel Award for the 2nd farthest distance went to Day of Ahmed's Secret from Arcade Elementary. This title traveled 2,651.46 miles to Fort Vancouver Regional Library District in Vancouver WA.

Car Trip Award for the 3rd farthest distance went to Future in Pediatrics from Scio Central School. This title traveled 2,589 miles to the University of California in Davis, CA.

Amazing how our books are needed - just another sign of how AWESOME you all are!

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO RETURN YOUR MEMBERSHIP PLANS AND SURVEY! WE ARE SO EXCITED ABOUT OUR MOVE! WE WILL HAVE NO DISRUPTION IN OUR SERVICE AND WE WILL BE IN OUR NEW DIGS IN AUGUST. (HOPEFULLY) THE DINNER WAS DELIGHTFUL AND THE WORDS OF TRIBUTE SPOKEN BY AND FOR OUR LIBRARIANS WERE BEAUTIFUL. THAT IS WHAT MAKES US WHO WE ARE. I SEE GREAT THINGS IN OUR FUTURE.
